- Have your recyclables out at the curb by 7:00 a.m.
- We CAN NOT accept motor oil containers
- Place cans, glass & newspaper in brown paper bags. Glass must be rinsed, labels do not have to be removed. No window glass, ceramic, or broken glass.
Glass does not have to be sorted by color.- Cans must be rinsed, remove labels, do not sort.
- Newspapers, magazines, catalogs, phone books, should be placed in brown paper bags.
- Mail, Office & school paper - place in paper bags.
- Shredded paper - in closed paper bags
- Corrugated cardboard, cereal, cracker, pasta, cake, shoe, gift and electronic boxes, must be tied in bundles.
- Plastics, we collect two types of plastic, PETE & HDPE. Basically, any plastic bottle with a neck (milk jugs, pop bottles, fabric softener, laundry soap). Some of these plastics are not bottles with necks, WE CAN NOT TAKE THEM. Please rinse & flatten. Plastics may be placed in plastic bags.
- CAR BATTERIES, should not be cracked or leaking.
- If you need another blue recycle tub, please call Rachelle at the township office & arrange to pick one up.
- Our curbside recycle program is a service for residential properties only. Commercial or industrial properties in our township should contact Wright Recycling or another waste contractor if they desire these services.
